When a toll free number is in either "Disconnect" or "Transit" status, that means the number is in the process of returning to the spare number pool. The number can come out of the transition anytime between now to up to 4 months from today. We will attempt to grab the phone number the moment it comes out of transition. The total cost if we are successful and are able to get the number you request is between $195 to $795. However, the upfront fee to start the backorder process is only $4.95. Once you start the backorder process, we will notify you with the date for which the number comes out of transition and the current Resp Org and its contact information.

Backordering a number does NOT guarantee that we will be successful in getting the number. If we are not successful, you can place a backorder order again free of charge towards another number backorder. You can cancel your backorder without any penalty up to one day before the date of the number coming out of transition.
